| According to the Chinese calendar, 2018 is a Male Earth Dog year. Because brown is connected to the earth, 2018 is also called the Year of the Brown Dog. Like the family’s favorite pet, those born in the Year of the Dog are faithful, friendly, trustworthy, and incredibly loyal. Dogs will do anything to help and protect the most important people in their lives. Communication is not their strong point, so they often leave others thinking they are cold or stubborn when in reality they simply find it difficult to convey their innermost thoughts and feelings. Happy and healthy Dogs live active lives, greatly enjoy helping and protecting others, and because they are not motivated by money or power, they are less stressed than most of their friends and family.
